1. Introduction and Core Philosophy

At AI Translator, we treat data privacy as a fundamental human right. Our translation infrastructure is explicitly designed so you can translate sensitive communications, intellectual property, and personal notes without fear of third-party surveillance, data harvesting, or model training on your private inputs.

2. Zero Persistent Server-Side Logging

When you submit text or speech for translation via our application:

  • No Data Retention: Translation payloads are processed strictly in volatile memory (RAM) and are deleted immediately upon returning the translated response.
  • No Model Retraining on User Submissions: Your inputs are never aggregated into training datasets for public models.
  • No IP or User Identity Association: We do not log IP addresses alongside translation text.

3. Client-Side Browser Storage (localStorage)

For your convenience, translation history and custom API tokens are saved in your browser's local sandbox via standard HTML5 localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared instantly using the "Clear History" button inside the application.

4. Web Speech API Permissions

The voice translation feature utilizes standard W3C Web Speech Recognition APIs. Audio input is captured only when you explicitly click the microphone icon. Microphone audio is never stored by our application.

5. Contact for Privacy Inquiries

If you have questions regarding our privacy architecture, please contact our data governance team via our Contact Page.
